Helpful Tips

• Keep an eye on your money: Sometimes the police and your mechanic will give you another chance to race if you manage to cover the damage by taking down a specific target. You must knock them out before the race ends. Winning isn’t required—but if you fail, you will lose.
• Don’t assume first place is everything: Replay a few maps a couple of times. You’ll earn more cash and walk into the next level better prepared.
• Upgrades vs. new cars: A well-timed upgrade can beat buying a new bike. Other times, you’ll want to skip and swap for a different one to gain small advantages—like better starting health or an improved Nitro setup.
• Police helicopters can crash you: Don’t stay under them. After a bit, they’ll move ahead and try to bring the fight to you by landing on the road. When you get the opening, jump onto a ramp and land on top of the helicopter—make them crash on your terms.
• Dealing with police cruisers: If you can’t get past them, force them toward oncoming traffic so they collide with another vehicle—then slip around and continue.
• Police bikes are annoying, not unstoppable: They’re slow, but they don’t let up. If you pass them and you don’t hear the siren, keep pushing. Make sure the siren stays quiet for at least 10 seconds before you crash—otherwise you may end up facing the same officer again.

The game begins on a map where you choose which races to play. Events are organized by American states (for example, Colorado, Dallas, and Albuquerque). You start with $1000, a full fuel tank, and a Volkswagen Golf.

• Garage access: Visit your garage to manage your vehicle.
• Car dealer: Buy new cars.
• Leaderboards: View the top racers.
• Social features: You can log in through Facebook and team up with friends for tournaments.

In the garage, you can upgrade or change rims, vinyls, and paints. Each upgrade costs either cash or gold bars, with prices ranging from $200 cash up to $80,000 cash.

During races, steering is controlled using the steering wheel located at the lower-right of the screen. Swipe and steer to weave between cars and obstacles at high speed.
